SISA 2021 will start next week

SISA 2021 will start next week. The organizing committee is now working on the final preparation. Next Monday, the online proceedings, presentation PDF files, and short presentation videos will be available to the participants.

I sent an email to all participants with the subject “SISA 2021 will start next week”. Similarly, I’ll send the online contents access information to the participants next Monday. If you did not receive my email, please contact us.

One more announcement. The regular registration deadline already passed. However, the student registration is still available till Sep 19. The student registration is free. We hope many students join this workshop.

Thanks,

The registration deadline is approaching.

The registration deadline, Sep 13, 2021, is approaching. The regular registration fee is JPY 7,000, and students can attend the workshop free. We hope many researchers join this workshop and discuss the latest topics. Check Registration page.

We confirmed all authors’ registrations, camera-ready paper submissions as well as copyright transfer agreement submissions. Now, the organizing committee is preparing the online proceedings.

Just a gentle reminder for authors especially presenters: the deadline for submission of presentation files is also approaching. That is Sep 13, 2021, which is the same day as the non-author registration deadline.

Stay safe and healthy!

SISA 2021 will go fully online

Due to the COVID-19 worldwide outbreak and the uncertainty of travel and venue regulations, the organizing committee decided to hold this workshop as a real-time virtual workshop without face-to-face in-person sessions.

Fortunately, we can reduce the workshop cost and settle the registration fees low. The regular registration fee is JPY 7,000, and students can attend the workshop free. We hope many researchers join this workshop and discuss the latest topics. Check Registration. Note that the non-author registration deadline is Sep 13, 2021.

Considering the schedule from now on, we extended the camera-ready and author registration deadline to Aug 27 for authors to have enough time to revise their papers. A tentative technical program is available on this page. The technical program committee will deliver the author notifications soon.

One more announcement. We are pleased to announce our invited keynote speaker for SISA 2021, Prof. Kazunori Hayashi, Kyoto University, Japan. The title of the speech is “Discrete Signal Detection via Compressed Sensing Technique.” For the details, please check Keynote Speech.

Notification delivery will be delayed

Now, the SISA 2021 TPC members are reviewing the submitted papers. Due to the submission deadline extension and the upload chasing, the acceptance notification delivery will be delayed. According to the latest estimation from the TP chair, we can send the notifications on July 20, 2021. Considering the notification delay, we may extend the deadline for the camera-ready paper submissions and author registrations, which will be announced later.
